We have many things in life which we pursue and of these there are those which take us away from God. God always lets his children know what is up. I say this, because I used to feel that God is a busy person who has so many things to look upon... and felt that He has no time for small people like us... but I was wrong. Last night when I had laid on my bed and thinking "How busy must be God". My head on the pillow with my arms wide open. My eyes half shut. Lights from the window gave a special atmosphere to the room! Right at this time "Heavenly Father" caught hold of my hand, very tight, allowed me to kiss His hand! Next, in my ears was a soft voice "I Love You" and I responded " I Love you " God was demonstrating His Love and Majesty to me. And He wants me to tell this to all. That He is there for us all the time, like the "water for the fish" - "God is for us". That is why we say that "God is everywhere". Imagine what will happen to fish if taken out from the water! The same thing is with us... What will happen to us if we are taken out of God! When God calls anything a sin or instructs us not to do it. It is not because He does not want us to enjoy life, it is because either these things will keep us busy and prevent us from enjoying more of eternal life or completely destroy our eternal life. For many years now some of God's people have been hearing the voice of satan more often than the voice of God. No More! That is about to change. God's voice of thunder will come to His beloved in such a manner that satan's lies and accusations will be more readily recognized and overcome. The voice of the Lord will bring victory to those who will hear Him. The more that you hear the voice of God the more you will recognize His will and His ways. You will become quick and active at resisting the enemy. The voice of God will be heard distinctly. Have you ever stood before a great waterfall and heard all the noise that it makes? Even a tiny brook makes a noise. The rushing rivers much more and yet the huge waterfalls a mighty roar. The voice of God is greater and will be heard distinctly. Psalm 29:3-4 "The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the LORD is over many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty."
Because we are about to see the gifts of the Holy Spirit pour out in us, you need to see it in the Word of God and feed on it. Prepare yourself.
Study Romans 12:2 and Ps 1:1-3. Faith comes by hearing the word of God (Rom 10:17). Study these verses and see them come alive in us...
(1Co 12:7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
(1Co 12:8) For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
(1Co 12:9) To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
(1Co 12:10) To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.
