Thank-you very much for responding to my mail and assuring me of your prayers. It truly means a lot to me as presently i am shattered and only God alone can rescue and save me from these demons who are all out to destroy me and my marriage to my husband.
He seems to be brain-washed totally hence can't see my love for him. Both he along with his parents are torturing me physically as well as mentally and though its to much for me to bear i've asked Jesus in my prayers to help me to carry my cross knowing that someday i will get my rewards.
As requested by you, i did try and get in touch with Fr. Agustin but he is unavailable. The lady who took my call has assured me of prayers, i can only live with faith and hope that Jesus knows what is good for me and let his will be done.

Read your short mail to me. Thanks for responding back. Well, i've already started drinking the holy water as well as sprinkling it in my room and on myself. It was like Jesus telling me to do so.
Would like to share with you my testimony. I've been living in fear and having nightmares with the constant torture of my in-laws. Last nite, i was unable to sleep and kept thinking they are going to kill me or do something harmful.
Every day, i make it a point after saying my rosary to open a page from the bible and accept it as God's word for me for the given day. Believe it or not this morning when I did so, the page that I opened was "DO NOT FEAR FOR I AM WITH U". Isn't it wonderful, Jesus lives in me and he will protect me from all these demons.
Do continue to pray for me and my husband as well that God will intercede and make him realise his mistake and he will repent for his sins and come back to me. I love my husband very much and I cry for his return.

God knows what is good for you.
If you keep crying for your husband, means you r not happy what God has done to you...infact God must have kept him far from you for ur good which you may not know now. but its for a reason that he is kept away. If God wants, your husband will come back to you. but, if God knows that, his coming is bad for your future, God will give signs to you that he is not meant for you.

Thanks for responding back to my mail. I've noted what you have to say and yes this is exactly what my uncle told me too. If its God's will, he will bring my husband back to me else it wasn't meant to be. Isn't it better to live in peace than to be living with a man who does not love or care for you, hurts you both physically and mentally? I've suffered enough these last two years at both my in-laws and my husband hands. Though am a working girl and supporting my needs they keep tortouring me and now its unbearable and hence i've decided to speak up and let the world know what sort of demons they are who pretend to be somebody they aren't.
I took my marriage vows seriously and have accepted my husband for better or for worse. In the book i was reading on the word of God, Jesus said even if you are in an abusive relationship, you should not think of divorce and hence i ask God to show me the way, let his will be done.
In my heart i know that i've given the very best to my relationship both with my husband and his parents and other family members but they have never accepted me as a member of the family. Now let God decide each of their faith b'cuz in psalm 91 it is said - the wicked shall be punished. Whoever is with me, have nothing to fear for I am with you all the time.
I live in faith and I know that Jesus is with me all the time.

Situation very bad on my personal front by Sharon on 26th Jun, 2008
Dear Guardian Angels,
Its with deep sorrow in my heart that i cry out to each of you asking you'll to pray for me in a special way as my in-laws continue to torture me and make life a living hell.
However, thru Jesus intervention and the Holy Spirit guidance, my bro has finally decided to call for a meeting between my husband and his family as well as my bro and cousin will be representing from my side and a final decision will be taken.
My bro has asked my husband to think what he wants from this relationship and marriage and next week (Wednesday) to be prepared with an answer.
In these two years and one month i've truly suffered and now i surrender to Jesus asking him to take charge of my life knowing that whatever decision is made it will only work in my best interest.
If my husband decides to give our relationship a chance it would mean that Jesus has touched his heart and hence things will work thru for us and should he decide to let go then too it would be in my favour as there is no point in holding onto a relationship that has no love, care, commitment etc.
I ask each of u to please lift me up in your personal prayer for the next few days.

Sharon please read this verse from the Bible Isaiah 54:5 "For your Maker is your husband-the Lord Almighty is his name-the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer." no matter wat happens be assured that God will never leave you nor forsake, for he has carved you in his hand and kept u as the apple of his eye. you are not alone, your husband is your creator.

Sometimes God allows this type of problems in our life to draw us near him. When everything is fine we seldom remember him. We may pray but our hearts are far away from him. He wants us totally. That's why Jesus says "Come to me who r weary and burdened and I will give rest.(Mt 11:28) Mr.Derrick has already told you. Accept Jesus in your life. So also I say. Surrender your life to Jesus and promise him that you will obey his word. Repent and confess your sins to him. And he will come and rescue you. Pray tonight and surrender your life to him right now. He is waiting at the door of your heart.for he says. "Behold. I stand at the door and knock.Who ever opens the door I will enter in his house and eat with him and he with me."(Rev. 3:20) So my dear, do it and he will lift you up and also honour you. Giving way to emotions will not alone help. A bit of practical advice to you-why do you have to suffer physically & bear the torture when you can stay in your parents' home, or else stay in a hostel? In this way, you can be free of all fear of being attacked at night & have your sleep disturbed? Sharon, the time for tears is over, You have to stand up & fight for yourself & surely the Holy Spirit will guide you every step of the way. Be strong, so that the evil one will be defeated.

First forgive your in-laws and yr husband. Cover them with the most precious blood of Jesus and just recite on your rosary daily at any given time, at least 1000 times a day - LORD JESUS CHRIST HAVE MERCY ON ME. A very powerful prayers, this has worked with me.
Dear Sharon: It is very sad that you are going through such a hard time just two years after your marriage. How happy you must have been on your wedding day! Any how, look forward and you do not, i repeat do not have to live in fear. I agree with Pearl that if you are so afraid for your life, you should move out and find an alternative place of stay. There are usually women's shelters if nothing else is available. Go to your priest and confide in him. Writing an email and being supportive is one thing but talking personally and pouring out your troubles is another. Have someone you can trust and talk to freely. Remember JESUS is always with you, no matter what. AND PRAY Prayers can move mountain and thank and praise the lord everyday for the situation in your life. It is hard to thank God for the bad but that is exactly what we should do and lift up your husband and his family in your prayers. Forgive them as Jesus would have done. Hello Sharon, as I read your situation, I can't hold myself to grieve too. However, you're lucky enough having been loved for many especially here in Guardian Angels that had not leaved but supported you instead. Each of us , had trials to face in life but only varies in other ways. What had happened to you is just a challenged from God, how strong is your faith and how you believed him. But believing his will is not enough, u must remember that God himself is just a tool for you to mobilize and to think what is right. I can say, winning back the love of a loved one is really the most hardest way to do but if you do really want, so go and strive but don't forget to have caution.
Another thing, u must be true to yourself, accept everything whether bad or good. Show your love without preventions and be nice to them always. Never thought that they have hurt you even once. Established their trust again thus facilitate a good interpersonal relationship. In this way u can feel with ease and you can communicate with them freely. This is just a heartfelt advised I can share to you.. Anyway, always remember our hands are widely opened for you with our prayer and hopes that somehow, someday you will be happily living with your family.
I am sorry about your situation - but, I have just a bit of advice to give you and I am quite sure it will work. Sharon, while myself and many others are praying for you, I sincerely ask you to get down on your knees and PRAY unceasingly. There are 2 conditions when u pray - 1) ask for unconditional forgiveness for yourself (as none of us is without sin). 2) you need to be forgiving from within to anyone who has hurt you or whom u have hurt (scripture says: "a humble and contrite heart O Lord, You will not spurn").
I am suggesting a prayer - u will have to get it from any St. Paul's Publication Store. The name of the book is ' P I E T A '. It contains the 15 St. Bridget Prayers. Start saying these prayers - you can even say them twice a day. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes. At the 14th Prayer you come to the words "Thou didst Expire" stop - bring yourself to the foot of the Cross and ask Jesus to cover both you and your husband with His Precious Blood - let the Precious Blood of Jesus break the power of evil and give you victory over evil. Let the Cross of Jesus throw its light on you, break the power of evil and give you victory over evil. Ask Jesus to bind your hearts with His Precious blood and preserve your both of you in His Heart and keep both of you under our Heavenly Father's wings and send His Spirit to fill you both with His love.
Also go to Mass - the best form of prayer. At the offertory and at the Concegration offer both your hearts in the chalice and ask God Our Father to break the power of evil and bind your hearts with the Blood of Jesus.
Let me tell you one thing, there is no short cut to getting on YOUR OWN KNEES and praying and you will soon see how God send you peace.
So as long as we have our compassionate and loving God to go to there is no need to despair.

Not only do i go to church daily and pray my rosary every day (twice), i also ask Jesus to help me to forgive my in-laws and my husband for what they have done to me. I know that God will touch their hearts and they will realise that what they have done to me isn't fair.
I am not here to judge anyone and hence I'll leave it to Jesus to decide what's best.
Just wanted to respond to Pearl message where in she said that since am a working girl, i could stay separately. Well my dear i would have implemented on that but i've already put in a lot of money into our new home (my husband and self) and me moving out would doom me forever as i would not only loose out on my home but my money as well.
I am hoping that we get possession of our house by the end of this month and I move out of my in-laws home. Pray by which time sense will prevail and Jesus will touch my husband heart and bring him back to me else i will accept it as God's will and move over to my own house to stay on my own.

Firstly, I would like you to understand that I do know what you are going through and yes, it is not easy to let go of something or someone we love or feel belongs to us.
I have in the 36 years of my life on this earth...believe, I share a very intimate relationship with God...wherein at times i have been upset, angry at all the trials and tribulations i have been put through and it never ends and at times asked Him why? and strangely, every time, i got this one message: 'Oh ye of little faith, do you not trust me? Do u not know, that I am your creator, you are my design and i have fashioned you to my likeness' & all i could say was yeah God, you created me and yet u put me through these miseries, you call me the apple of your eye and yet, i am treated shabbily even after all my efforts to be good...to forgive and forget...
Sharon, my journey with Christ never stopped, i kept hungering for his word and it is when, i started taking the Bible and actually filling myself with HIS word, i realised, i was so shallow and kept saying me and me and me...i forgot, my catechism and never really welcomed the holy spirit in my life...i started on my journey with asking God to send his spirit on me...to fill me with his fire, to baptize me all over again so that i am reborn and my failing and weekend spirit is restored....amazingly, i could understand his word, the scriptures and the mercies of God my father (he is a wonderful and loving God, a God i fear and a God who i can still approach as a child, a God who loves me unconditionally and ever forgiving...and as the scriptures say, Jesus Christ is the beginning, the past, the current, the future and It is in Christ we will be raised....So, Sharon trust in GOD and know that he has put where you are for a purpose...you have the strength and he knows you can handle it...remember, to be charitable to all those who hurt you...for every soul good or bad is not lost till the final day and we all belong to God for he has created all of us and our duty as Christians to pray for those that are not walking the Christian life, for those that have not witnessed him for those that know him but reject him....so that victory will be ours and God has not lost out to satan....for even one soul lost is unbearable to God for the price his son Jesus paid on the cross to bring us salvation.
Sharon forget the house, forget the unforgiving husband, the in-laws everything and pray for them....do not look at their faults for we have no right to judge our brother / sister, we have no right to try to point at that speck in our brothers eye when we have a log in our eyes....know and believe that GOD has a plan for each of us...if he was able to give his only believed son so that man may have salvation, if God became man...what is there to give up someone or an earthly possession for God...Is he not your provider? does he not give you the cloth on your back, the food you eat? he will never desert you.... id someone harms you, that someone is accountable for his actions, we are all accountable for our deeds and actions....and so, I pray that the Holy Spirit leads you with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, piety and that you in your journey will develop a beautiful and intimate relationship with God, where u can find peace, joy and happiness knowing that you have paid your debt here and have been delivered and will enjoy a more rewarding and everlasting priceless relationship with God and only he matters...
I testify, that there has never been a day inspite of all the so called trials and hardships and breakdowns i have had, i never went to bed hungry even if i had no food strangely i would friends dropping by with something or the other, when i was jobless and thought how was i to manage, i never came to a point where i was ever penniless, i always had a roof over my head and a safe bed to sleep every night...when i was sick and alone i was able to manage through the night and take myself to the hospital when dawn broke...who but could have got me through all this Sharon? It was just my faith that I was not alone and i had the mightiest and most powerful doctor, healer with me...my Lord and Saviour and I was promised by my Father...that not a hair will be touched and who can be against me, when God is with me? If you are strong in your relationship with God, no one and no one will can break you for your spirit will be strong even if your mortal body will be broken
Walk with this knowledge...call on the holy spirit...listen and listen carefully, for God will speak to you..listen in the night, listen in the day...when u feel that strange feeling that someone, something is trying to reach you...pay attention, for God speaks to us sometimes, through your friends, through whichever source...listen and discern what Gods plans are for you

How are things with you? You are in my prayers daily at mass. Glad to know that very soon you will be moving into a place of ur own. A word of caution, though. Please be firm at the time of shifting out, yes, if ur husband is wiling to come along with you, fine! but do not make the mistake of even for courtesy sake to take any other fly members with you, especially from from your in-laws. Let the saying 'Once bitten, twice shy' make you alert of what you say to anyone. There is no need to have any house warming party other than the 'blessing of your home". Oh worry not, i am very cautious on my approach now. After being tortured and tormented by my in-laws and husband i would not like to make the same mistake. Pl. continue 2 pray 4 me. My husband and in-laws continue to torture me. I've started praying though for them where in i ask Jesus to help me to forgive them for hurting me and in return to forgive me my sins too.
Am disappointed as there is going to be a delay in getting my home so my torture continues. Have to wait till September to get possession.
I don't know what God's plans are for me but I believe in Jesus and I know that he is there with me all the time and will take care of my every need. Whatever happens, happens for a reason and someday that reason will be revealed to me.

A very good morning to you all. Honestly speaking, i've no words to express my feelings at this moment of time as am going thru hell in my personal life. My thoughts are swayed only into one direction and that is how to over come this torture. I've been praying to Jesus to help me and though he is with me and making me strong as a person, i am sad that its taking so long to get justice.
They continue to harass and make life a living hell for me. It is said in the bible the wicked will be punished but yet at this present moment of time they seem to enjoy their life and be happy while i here cry in pain and am in deep anguish.
This is the most testing time for me as Jesus wants to see my faith in him and i want to hold on strongly but yet there are times when i fall and cry to Jesus saying ... enough is enough. I can take it no more.
Last nite too they put me thru torture as the only fan in the room that was working is now not working and a person like me who has been so used to Air conditioner and other luxuries has to make do now with one small table fan that too which i had to purchase b'cuz they disconnected the AC/the ceiling fan which was in good condition. Besides these, now even the other fan which was giving moderate breeze is taken away from me.
I've never seen people who are so heartless, thought it only happens in movies but today i've a first hand account thru my in-laws. What's suprising is that my husband is not saying anything and b'cuz of this they are taking undue advantage. Me being a non interfering type, why then can't they leave me to live my life in peace?
They wanted their son which i have willingly given, what more do they want from me now?
Do you know this morning I was crying to my Lord Jesus and I asked him to console my heart and as usual opened the bible to read his word and do you know what was his answer to me

God heard my cry and eased my pain by assuring me that there is hope in my life and i need to be patient and strong and believe that Jesus is with me always. What touched my heart the most on reading this scripture is that the insults of those who insult you, fall upon me. So if am in pain and am hurting, Jesus understands and he is watching everything and someday I will get justice.
Please continue to pray for me that God gives me the strength to endure and carry my cross without complaining knowing the rewards i will receive later will be much richer than the pain am presently going thru.

Well dear, i've not only made the novena to St. Jude but also St. Thereza. Currently the ongoing novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour is going on and am making that novena too, today being the 9th day.
I continue to pray and ask Jesus to give me guidance on how to move forward as i don't want to take any decision this time by being impulsive. All this while i've been quiet and offered all my sufferings to Jesus but i can take it no more and cried to Jesus ... enough is enough, save me from these demons.
I've given them so much of my love, money and everything i have but yet they continue to torture me. Today i feel i am better of without my husband as he has not lived to being a husband and only in name we are man and wife.
This is not what i wished to have and though I love him dearly i can't allow him to control my life and torture me anymore after all life is precious and its God's gift to me. Its good that finally my family has come to an understanding too and they have decided to give them an ultimatum wherein either they change and accept me as a member of their family else i go back home and live with my brother picking up the broken pieces of my life and moving forward.
My husband use to love me so much before marriage, what could have changed his feelings towards me post marriage? Was that all an act, i keep asking my self that question time and again as its not that long since we have been married.
God knows what's best for me and I know he will solve my problem soon.

You know I too am going through the same phase for my daughter an M.Com & MBA in Finance, whom I got married to a most idiotic Man a (Dentist). The marriage was last November 2007 after I inserted an ad in the Examiner in the month of May 2007. Read carefully.
While I was attending the feast Novenas which commensed last Wednesday for peaceful settlement, which came by when we signed a MOU the very next day that is Thursday 19th June, I recollected how I was attending these same feast Novenas last year too with deep faith in our Lady and her Son Jesus and was literary begging her to fulfill my daughter wish and this is what I want to share with you.
I truly beleive today that what we ask from our Lord Jesus he gives, and specially when we plead before him he cannot keep our prayers unanswered even when it is not the right petition that we are asking from him.
And so it is for us to understand what we ask, because it is not always right what we think that sometimes God delays our requests or gives us in some other form because it is also very much true that God even gives us the exact thing we ask for and it is for us to think whether what we are asking for is really needed. Sometime its not the fault of the parents because they want to see their children happy and sometimes we cannot blame the children either because the children obey their parents.
In my daugther's case I cant even blame her because it is I who had put the Ad in the Examiner but frankly speaking though I couldnt well judge the Doctor, I was wise enough to judge his parents and there is where I kept telling my daughter, that its not the right house for her. But for her it was love at first sight and everything fell on deaf ears and today she says I have no regrets mom it was destined but I am deeply sorry mumma that it was my wrong decision. And she hugs me and says "If it had not been for a strong Mom like you to be besides me - I cannot imagine what it would be like" So God is besides her in form of a mom.
So remember fight for your rights dont give up so easily. We were truthful and I surrendered to all their needs because my daughter loved him and I didnt want to make her unhappy. But the biggest shock of all the tortures that were metered out by his parents to a highly qualied daughter of mine, was that He did not have physical relationship with my daughter and I had to bring her back home within 3 months of her marriage.
I prayed deeply, but I didnt sit quietly over it and ask God to handle the entire problem which we choose. I left no stone unturned to teach them a lesson of their life. Sharon, you will be surprised to know that his Mother is a Euchristic Minister in the Church and are daily church goers and see how their hearts function. Having no financial strength I yet fought. We all have to stand unitedly and fight. We Christian have learnt to bear and keep quiet. My husband is sick and jobless from last 10 years. I work as a secretary and then go home and tuit 22 students and with my hardened money I got my daughter married lavishly the way they demanded and gave her 240 grams gold with the strong support of my family. There are no words to put how his parents tortured my poor daughter. She had to sit in the kitchen and have her food. Not once she sat with them to eat. They removed the whole time maid and made my daughter slog like a servant. It was like a typical Jail. If she was 5 minutes late from office she was asked to get out. She paid part of her salary to his Mom and he did not give her a single penny or buy anything for her. There can never be more sorrow then this. Where you dont have immotional, financial, mental and all the more physical support.
Today I feel proud that I have dragged them to the floor, as they thought we are poor and would not do anything.I kept requesting for nearly a month but there was no proper response. That's when my one shot (Genuine letter) to the Police Station under 498A shook them to the core. There is a saying "Laatho Khe Bhoot Baatuo Seh Nahi Maanteh"
For all the prayers and guidences that you have received, from so many good people, I trust you will love reading this also and get some courage before you sit for your final settlement. But its my sincere request dont surrender so easily by just leaving it to God. You fight you battle if you are true and God will stand besides you.
I shall keep you in my prayer today on the 9th Novena at Mahim that our Lady and her Son Jesus will guide you to the right path.
It is only by going through difficulties that we become strong. By opening up to love when we are facing such trials we can understand that we are not alone but have the unconditional support that we need from angels of God.

I can't respond to each of you individually but i would like to say a big thank-you to all of you for communicating your views to me as well as assuring me of your prayers. It truly means a lot to me.
Well, only my Jesus knows what am presently going thru and i know he will guide and protect me at all times b'cuz am his lil child.
I've no parents and hence my in-laws have taken advantage as they know whatever they do, i will have no elder for support and being frail and naive i would not be able to even go to the law. They r mistaken though as for two years i've been silent but now Jesus has given me the courage to stand up and fight them and i intend to do so as i would not like another innocent girl like me to go thru this trauma again.
Have told them, i will die at their hands but won't allow them to get away with what they r doing. My younger brother has handled the situation very well, he has not put the ball in my husband court when in he has asked him to think what he wants. If he wants me as his wife then he better learn to stand up and take charge of the situation else he is welcome to end the relationship.
In the two years and one month i've been married, its only a marriage in name. He spends more time with his parents and others than with me. He does not sleep at nite in the room i sleep nor does he care if food is kept for me at home. The past one month they have deprived me of the basic necessity and if it wasn't for my brother i don't know what i would have done by now. He has to take care of everything and hence i sometimes feel, what use to show society am married when in reality its my bro who is standing by me and taking care of my every need.
I believe in Jesus and I know he will do what he thinks is right for me. In the past, i've been impulsive in making decisions but that's b'cuz my faith in Jesus was weak. Today, i have surrendered to my Lord and i know whatever the outcome, i will be the one to profit as God won't leave or abandon me.

Matilda mom, thanks for sharing your story on your daughter with me, it gives me hope and courage to stand up and fight these demons. Your daughter story and mine is so similar. Atleast she was given food to eat but myself, they are starving me and today my bro is arranging for my food from home as well as taking care of every need. They have taken my money and everything from me and on top of that they say i will be on the roads soon begging. I know and believe there are many good samaratins out there and that day will never come in my life. I pray for your daughter and may she find the strength to pick up the broken pieces of her life and move forward. Its better to live a single life than to be married and have no life at all. Well let me tell you that inspite of all the torture i've been put thru all this while, i've not left my husband or my in-laws home though i guess that's what they all want b'cuz i've taken my marriage vows seriously but the pain n torture is unbearable now and I cannot take it anymore.

Thanks Pearl for putting in a prayer request for me while you are in Potta for a retreat. I know that Jesus understands my pain and suffering and he surely will find a solution to my many problems.
I love my husband very much and am praying fervently that Jesus will touch his heart, he will experience God's healing power and love and the holy spirit will come upon him and transform him into being a good Christian. At this present moment, he is possessed by the devil and hence he is unable to think straight or behave rightly. His parents don't want us to be together but i believe firmly that what God has joined no man can destroy and it is with this faith i still cling on to my marriage.
Told my bro as long as there is no harassment from them, i am acceptable to the life i've to lead where in i allow my husband to take his time to think what he wants in life. Let him have his space as its important for him to know what is the sacrament of marriage. Everytime we had an argument, i've always gone back to him and said sorry inspite of it not being my fault where by encouraging him to take me and our relationship for granted. Today i may be suffering but i believe something good will definitely come out of this situation.

Thanks for writing in as well as for commenting on the way i write. Yes, i've been gifted by God and i would like to make use of my talent where by spreading God's word to one and all as in the midst of this crises he has touched my heart and got me closer to him.
Before this crises, i did not understand God's word and plan for me but today after reading the bible am able to understand what his purpose in life is for me and I intend to live my life doing his will.
Though am shattered by whatever has happened to me, i still live in faith and believe that Jesus is a loving father and he will take care of me. If he puts you to it, he will definitely show you how to deal with the situation.
Please continue to pray for me and am certain that with so many guardian angels praying for me and my husband something good will definitely come out of this.
