Voice from Heaven - Guardian Angel

February 27th of this year (2009), my life was truly touched by my Father. I’m 17 and was raised Christian but never took it too seriously. At one point I stopped going to church and praying all together because I questioned the entire belief. Eventually I realized if I wanted to know if it was really true then it was stupid to just run away, so I started reading my bible for about 3 to 4 hours a day. I came to a place in Romans where it talks about God's divine sovereignty and how he'll harden the hearts of who he chooses... and it terrified me. I began praying and crying for about a half hour begging God to not harden my heart because of my doubt. I tried to comfort myself by imagining a vision of bright light or something but then realized that it was just me trying to create that.

Suddenly my whole head was still and I felt a voice say clear as day “The devil will try to turn you away from me. Be strong, holdfast, and stand up for my name. I am with you.” I was in shock. I felt safe and knew my Father would not let me turn from him. But then I became very worried about everyone else. I walked back to my bible, opened it up, and the very first thing I saw was John 14: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. There are many rooms in my Father's house; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.”

Jesus Christ, the Lord of heaven and earth, spoke to me and my life is forever changed.

HEAR ^GOD’S VOICE

A young man approached the foreman of a logging crew and asked for a job.

“That depends,” replied the foreman. “Let’s see you fell this tree.” The young man stepped forward and skillfully felled a great tree. Impressed, the foreman exclaimed, “You can start Monday.”

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday rolled by. Thursday afternoon the foreman approached the young man and said, “You can pick up your paycheck on the way out today.”

Startled, the young man replied, “I thought you paid on Friday.”

“Normally we do,” said the foreman. “But we’re letting you go today because you’ve fallen behind. Our daily felling charts show that you’ve dropped from first place on Monday to last place today.”

“But I’m a hard worker,” the young man objected. “I arrive first, leave last and even have worked through my coffee breaks!”

The foreman, sensing the young man’s integrity, thought for a minute and then asked, “Have you been sharpening your axe?”

The young man replied, “No Sir, I’ve been working too hard to take time for that!”

Our lives are like that. We sometimes get so busy that we don’t take time to “sharpen the axe”

In today’s world, it seems that everyone is busier than ever but less happy than ever. Why is that? Could it be that we have forgotten how to stay sharp?

There’s nothing wrong with activity and hard work. But God doesn’t want us to get so busy that we neglect the truly important things in life, like taking time to pray, to read and study scripture or to listen to “the still small voice of God.”

We all need time to relax, to think and meditate, to learn and grow. If we don’t take time to sharpen the axe, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness. Take time today to sharpen your axe!

Spending time with God is important.

Dear Readers,
Christian greetings.Working for God is different from serving God.Working for God is to do God's work,serving God's people,guiding them,leading them in God's word so on and so forth.Many will not understand what I say but if they trouble their mind little more they will definately grasp what I want to say.
To understand the above statement one has to know God and secondly one has to have personal relation with God.In Old Testament one will find the the Priest used to be in the temple like Eli.Eli used to live in the temple and sleep in the temple.God would call the priest anytime.So he had to be in the temple.God would speak to the priest and the priest would also speak to God.It was one to one relation.This is called serving God.In olden days people used to come to the temple priest to enquire with God.In return the priest used to approach God on behalf of people.
Second part to serve God's people.Leading and guiding them according to the word of God and not according to the teachings of men.Serving God's people is the service of God. In both the cases the priest had to know God and also he had to have personal relation with God.But today the situation is different.People have to know God and also to have personal relation with God.Unless one has personal relation,God is a stranger to the people.The relation is broken when man committed sin.hence that relation has to be re-established.Since man committed sin he has to take initiative and come back to God.That is why God says that man has to seek God. " Seek the Lord while he may be found,call on him while he is near." (Isaiah 55:6) And how to re-establish that relation? By committing life to Jesus.The process of committing is given in Acts chapter 2 and verse 38. " Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Once that is done God establishes that relation and takes the sinner into his embrace.A sinner becomes a saint.He also becomes God's child.(John 1:12) Once one becomes child of God he also becomes not only priest.but royal priest.( I Peter 2:9) So my dear friends,commit your life to Jesus and receive not only the gift of the Holy Spirit but also gift of the great Salvation.Please read one of my letters on this website and say the prayer given in that letter.And also I have given some instructions to follow afterwards.Daily you can sit on your bed and spend some time with God.God will speak to you.Keep your ears alert.You will hear his voice.I am saying this with my own experience.Do it and God will do wonders in your life.Hallelujah.Bye.God bless you.

Dear Readers,
Christian greetings.I have seen people praying to God and while praying either they look up as if God is up in the sky or some keep their eys shut and bow down and pray.But the question is whether God talks to them? They are not sure.And some I have seen chanting mantras or repeating same words again and again before the idol or image.Through out their life they pray but seldom they receive what they pray for.Because their hope is in those images or idols.If one reads Psalms 115, will come to know why their prayers are not answered.
But if one comes to a living God,his prayers are bound to be answered.And who is that living God? Living God is Jesus Christ.He is alive and people have seen him and talked to him and He to them.Jesus says. " Most assuredly,I say to you,whatever you ask the Father in my name ,He will give you. " (John 16:23) or " You may ask me for anything in my name,and I will do it. " (John 14:14) or again in verse 24 of John's gospel Jesus says. " Until now you have asked nothing in my name.Ask and you will receive,that your joy will be complete. " Again Jesus says. " Therefore I tell you,whatever you ask for in prayer,believe that you have received it,and it will be yours. " (Mark 11:25) Jesus has given these assurances to everyone whoever surrenders his or her life to Jesus.If you are convinced then you are also welcome.Come to Jesus and say this prayer when you are alone. " Lord Jesus I believe that I am a sinner.I also believe that you died for my sins and shed your precious blood to save me.Lord Jesus please forgive my sins and cleanse my heart with your blood.Lord Jesus thank you for forgiving my sins and also for cleansing my heart and making me worthy to come before you.Lord Jesus I want to commit my life to you.I promise to read your word everyday and also promise to obey your teachings.Lord Jesus give me the gift of the Holy Spirit and come in my heart and make my heart your dwelling.Thank you for giving me the gift and also thank you for coming in my heart.Heavenly Father I adore and worship you in the mighty name of Jesus.Amen."
If you have said this prayer,rest be assured that Jesus has come in your heart and His Spirit is in you.Jesus has accepted you as His child.Now you need not pray as before.Wherever you are,just close your eyes and believe that Jesus is before you and pray.There is no fix time or place for prayer.You can pray anywhere,anytime and any place.He is everywhere,because He is God.Do not forget to read his word as promised.Start from John's gospel from New Testament.Read one or two chapters everyday early in the morning.Keep continuety.After reading spend some time in meditating on the portion for some time and then commit each day after the reading with small prayer You will find great change within few weeks.You will be a different person altogether.Your life will be filled with peace,joy and happiness.Do it and receive his blessings.Hallelujah.Bye.God bless you.
