Is America Really falling ?
The LORD or Angels has not given any signs to me concerning earthquakes, or volcanoes, or specific natural disasters coming to America or any other nation. The Scriptures, however, do testify that such events will be common in the last days before the return of Christ as the earth goes through . I would not be surprised to see such events occur.
In recent years America has been struck with unprecedented natural disasters. Last year the Midwest experienced devastating flooding of historic proportions.
Around the same time, California was experiencing an unprecedented outbreak of fires which were occurring at a time when the state had less rainfall than at any other time in her recorded history.
During this same period of time America has been experiencing historic economic collapse. Millions of Americans have lost their homes. Many millions more have lost jobs, and savings have been wiped out as the stock market has declined by half from its peak less than 2 years ago. Investment banks have collapsed, threatening economic calamity. The huge mortgage underwriters Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had to be bailed out by the government to stave off a collapse of the entire industry. The list of economic woes goes on and on.
We have seen in this America unprecedented terrorist events, and record breaking hurricane seasons. We have seen New Orleans devastated by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and the largest evacuation in U.S. history last year as Hurricane Gustav approached the city.
There have been signs in the heavens portending judgment and calamity, and signs upon the earth. Nearly all of the states are now facing budget shortfalls, and California has the worst credit rating of any state, rendering her incapable of borrowing money. California’s government cannot pay her bills NOW, and some are using words such as “financial Armageddon” to describe the days ahead.
What has happened to the once proud and prosperous nation? America is under the judgment of God due to her sins and unrepentant attitude. Is it so difficult to imagine even greater calamities striking in the coming days?
The parable of the US Airways crash on the Hudson River gives forth the message that economic collapse is at the door. Thirty top banking executives from Bank of America and Wells Fargo were aboard the plane. It had just started to ascend when a flock of birds unseen by the radar of air traffic control collided suddenly with the plane. In the same way, America’s fall will come swiftly.
There has been such a plethora of judgments, dreams and prophecies, that one must give great credence to these present warnings of even more dire things to come. America is going to fall, and America will fall suddenly.

Is not America Babylon today. America even occupies the land of ancient Babylon. Just last month a news report came out stating that America has allotted a sum of money to restore the ancient city of Babylon in Iraq.

God has judged Babylon before, and He is doing so once more. Both political and religious Babylon are being judged. Just two days back, on Wednesday, 4th Feb 2009 in Barack Obama’s hometown of Chicago the Holy Name Cathedral caught fire and sustained heavy damage. This church is the seat of the Catholic Bishop, and it was reported that it will now be closed for months.
