God took David from Poverty to the Throne!

"Now this is what you will say to my servant David: 'This is what the Lord of Armies says: I took you from the pasture where you followed sheep so that you could be the leader of my people Israel.' " 2 Samuel 7:8 GWT

God took a lowly shepherd boy, and made him a king. In fact, that's exactly what He wants to do with each and every one of us: take us from eternal poverty to eternal riches.

Lord, I praise You as the heart-knower; for knowing David had a heart dedicated to You. Help me to have that same heart.
