Radical Group declares Tsunami punishment from God

click here to view video of Tsunami

"The tsunami was an adumbration of the wrath of God, a harbinger of things to come: that Great Day of Judgment... those Asian countries weren’t the only ones affected by the tsunami. Do you realize that among the dead and missing are 3,500 Swedes and over 3,000 Americans? Sweden, who recently jailed a Gospel preacher for a month because he preached Bible verses and sentiments about the abomination that is the homosexual lifestyle from his own pulpit to his own congregation. America, who is awash in diseased fag feces & semen, and is an apostate land of the sodomite damned. And you wonder if this is the wrath of God?"

'God signed the tsunami'

Colombo - God signed His name in the tsunami that battered Sri Lanka and other countries on December 26, and sent it as punishment because humans have been ignoring His laws, Most Sri Lankan's say

And Many Groups / Religions blame God for all this...

God is completely good and will Never Never Punish

Earthquakes, floods, devastating tsunami, destructive windstorms...

Day by day we are confronted with several tragic events that cause a high number of deaths or injured and homeless. Catastrophes like these give birth to questions like: "Why did God allow such a terrible event?", "Why did He allow so many innocent people to die and so many others to suffer?"

In this short text we want to motivate people to think more deeply and to see events like these in a larger context. In My opinion the natural catastrophes are not a direct punishment of God.

God is completely good

We admit that it is a difficult question, especially for those who are under hard physical and mental suffering. Nevertheless we want to explain why we believe that events like these do not question God's infinite love and might. He does not want any evil but he wants the best for all men.

Man is responsible for the way he uses God's good creation

We think that often the reason for the tragic consequences of such natural disasters is the sin of negligence, egotism, greed and pride. Mankind is not ready to use its knowledge and abilities to invest energy and money for things which are sensible for all men and not only for some who want to satisfy their egotistic wishes.

Science could be developed much quicker in order to prevent many tragedies. The aim should be to solve the real problems of mankind and give all people the chance to pursue a safe life. It is a question of attitude. Man could have done already much more if he did not only look short-sightedly to his own advantage disregarding his responsibility for others.

In order to understand these tragedies in the right way we have to understand first God's nature and his relation to the material world. We believe that God is the creator of the world, he rules over it and sustains it. The existence of the wonderful universe with the earth as a dwelling place for mankind is a reflection of God's love and intelligence.

The natural laws are designed with exactness for preparing a place for us to live. Nevertheless there exist natural phenomena which can threaten man's life. They do not take place only on our planet but can be observed in the whole cosmos.

God did not create a world in which He has to interfere continuously with miracles to lead everything as He wants. God did not put man in a miraculous world where He has to protect him of every particular disaster andupply him directly with everything he needs. He endowed man with intelligence so that man can use all resources in a reasonable way and live on this world in peace. Man is a creature with mind and spirit, he is responsible to use it in a proper way. God did not create man as puppets but gives him freedom to decide by himself how he wants to use his abilities.

Man can influence disasters

Unfortunately nowadays people settle in even very dangerous areas. They ignore the natural hazards only for some material advantages in regions like California, Florida and Japan. A number of metropolises are built in the most dangerous earthquake zones.

Numerous lives could be saved if people consciously avoided areas of which it is known that they are regularly struck by tsunamis, floods, wind storms and the like. There are enough places on earth which are quite safe.

Furthermore we do have technology which could help us to make it possible to live safely even in areas which are not completely untouched by natural disasters. Modern engineering science enables us to construct earthquake resistant buildings up to high magnitudes.

For approaching tidal waves warning systems could be installed so that people can flee to a more secure place in time. World wide news agency BBC writes that "In Japan, a network of fiber-optic sensors records any seismic activity and passes that information to a powerful computer at the Meteorological Agency, which estimates the height, speed, destination and arrival time of any tsunamis. Within two minutes of the quake, the agency can sound the alarm."

Richer countries do have such systems and could support poorer regions like around the Indian ocean. On the other hand they could also use their resources in a better way. But it is typical of the irresponsibility of men that these things are always considered only after such disasters.

For example, in the case of the tsunami from December 2004, in Yala National Park in Sri Lanka a number of tourists and employees died from the Tsunami. Nevertheless Wildlife officials reported that there have been no recorded animal deaths. If animals are able to sense such dangers how much more is man capable of coping with such difficulties as he is endowed with mind and spirit.

Other disasters like abortion remain hidden

The tragic consequences of the great catastrophes should make us think also of other disasters like abortion which is an every day tragedy. Over the whole globe, several natural catastrophes occur every year that cause the death of several hundred thousands of people. On the other hand, yearly approximately 45,500,000 children have to die through abortion worldwide that means more than 123,000 per day. That is an incredibly high number. Who thinks of them? They cannot protest, you can hardly find anything in the newspapers or television about their terrible death.

The solution is to turn to God and to behave in a responsible way

Natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, windstorms, tsunamis show us our powerlessness. Man has to accept his limits. We cannot do anything we like but we have to respect God's creation as it is. Man should use his God-given abilities and resources in a responsible way to avoid any damage for mankind.

We should not feel secure just because we live in a safer place. The life of everyone can end suddenly for instance through a car accident or heart attack. The value of human life goes far beyond the value of material property attached to it. The pictures about devastated land and dead people shake man's security in earthly things and make us conscious that only eternal life with God can guarantee security. Our life is feeble, we cannot own it or rule over it. It is a present from the Source of life which is God. We should be thankful for every day we can live.

We do not regard natural catastrophes as a direct punishment from God for just those people who live in those specific places. The damage caused by such events could be prevented if man were ready to see his responsibility towards his neighbours and use his abilities to serve the others selflessly.

We have legalized sin. We have taken God out of our lives. In America , India and many other countries, prayer has been removed from school. Abortion is legal. Some drugs are legal. Alcohol, once prohibited, is readily available. Creation is discounted in favor of evolution, a theory already logically proved impossible. Pornography is legal. In some states prostitution is legal. White collar business persons are robbing the poor. The American President commits perjury and gets away with it. The same is done by many others who are in power.

When nations openly flaunt their sins before God, He has no choice but to withdraw His favor. You cannot keep blessing someone who openly rebels against you.

People are hurt and disillusioned right now because of children murdering children. We ask ourselves, "Where did we go wrong?" Was it the violent video games? Poor parenting? Bad schools? Unsavory friends? Available guns? Emotional problems?

Adults, Youth, and Children are crying out for help. We have gone our own way but are miserable.

"People Think India Is a Poor Country. It Is Not"

Question: You said in your budget speech that "India is not a poor country, yet a significant proportion of our people are poor." Are you trying to redefine India's image?
Chidambaram: Yes. A number of people both within India and abroad think India is a poor country. It is not. The bulk of India's people remain poor because we are not able to give basic education to our children, we are not able to impart skills to our young men and women, and we are not able to get productive work out of them. If we can get another 200 million to 300 million people to join the ranks of those engaged in productive activity, India's GDP will soar.

The budget earmarks a lot of money to help the poor. Many Indians are skeptical that it will ever reach them.
There's a focus on rural poverty in the budget. What about India's urban poor?
Won't India's bureaucracy defeat the efforts to help the poor?
What role can foreign investment play in India's efforts to fight poverty?
The budget spends on the poor without punishing the rich. Is this a sign that India has moved beyond socialism in its attempt to fight poverty

Let me not live a life that's free
from "The Things" that draw me close to you Thee -
For How can I ever hope to heal
the wounds of others I do not feel -
If my eyes are dry and I never weep -
How do I know when the hurt is deep -
If my heart is cold and it never bleeds,
How can I tell what my brother needs -
For when my ears are deaf to the beggar's plea
And we close our eyes and refuse to see -
And we steel our hearts and harden our mind,
And we count it a weakness whenever we're kind -
We are no longer following THE FATHER'S WAY
or seeking His guidance from day to day -
For, without "crosses to carry" and "burdens to bear",
we dance through a life that is frothy and fair -
And "chasing the rainbow" we have no desire
for "roads that are rough" and "realms that are higher" -
So spare me no heartache or sorrow, dear Lord -
For the heart that is hurt reaps the richest reward, -
and God enters the heart that is broken with sorrow -
As He opens the door to a - BRIGHTER TOMORROW,
For only through tears can we recognize
The suffering that lies in another's eyes

Goodness does not just come.
Joy comes from pain and pain from joy.

When we see night, we appreciate the day.
When we see winter, we appreciate the spring.

When we see darkness, we appreciate the light.
When we see sorrow, we appreciate the joy.

Life is a short passage of our journey towards eternity - life is a gift that is given to us by God - compassion and kindness towards the human race and peace and love for humanity is the greatest grace and gift of our Lord to us and is our clear way to eternity.

God is happiness - we have to be happy to be one with God who is kind - kindness is God - show kindness to humans, to animals, kindness to trees, kindness to whatever exists in this world - as it is all creation of the Lord - we have to be kind to be one with God - compassion is God - compassion for all living and non-living things in life - compassion and action to help those in need - faith in action is love, joy, happiness, kindness, laughter, compassion-that is faith in action-

Soul is a part of the God - soul is a centre of peace in us - it is the peace that is felt by getting rid of all the worldly matters of life - even though it is there for us all the time, it is not seen or felt by people because we engage ourselves too much in this materialistic world - meditation, prayers, kindness, love will bring us to this peace which is our inheritance -

If life was too perfect there would be nothing to look forward to...

To have that perspective is also a spiritual awakening. There is a very beautiful story, a fairy tale, which in essence goes as follows:

There was once a circle that was missing a piece.

The circle was very depressed and down that it was missing a very important piece of its being.

So the Circle embarked on a journey looking for the missing piece. En route the circle smelled the roses, talked to the butterfly, looked at the sunrise and sunset, tried different pieces on the road that did not fit and the circle was disappointed and sad that it was missing its very important piece.

Eventually, the circle found the missing piece - became perfect. A total full round circle. But now it went so fast it had no time to smell the roses, it had no time to look at the sunrise and sunset, and it had no time to talk to the butterflies.

So after some time the circle realized, I am missing all those things, chatting with butterflies, smelling the roses, looking at the sunrise and sunset, so the circle took out the missing piece, left it at the side of the road and embarked on the journey looking for a missing piece.

We all have a missing piece. And with this missing piece we are more whole because we have the aspiration every morning to wake up and strive for something.

“We all bow down”

Princes and paupers
Sons and daughters
Kneel at the throne of grace
Losers and winners
Saints and sinners
One day will see His face
And we all bow down
Kings will surrender their crowns
And worship Jesus
He is the love unfailing love
He is the love of God

Summer and winter
The mountains and the rivers
Whisper the Saviour’s name
Awesome and holy
A friend to the lonely
Forever His love will reign

And we all bow down
Kings will surrender their crowns
And worship Jesus
He is the love unfailing love
He is the love of God
He’s the light of the world
And Lord of the cross

And we all bow down
Kings will surrender their crowns
And worship Jesus
Worship Jesus
Worship Jesus
He is the love unfailing love
He is the love of God.
